Together with our friends at WUP Architektur & zwoPK Landschaftsarchitektur and the limited-profit developers BWSG & MIGRA, we convinced the jury with our proposal for the new housing development at Eibengasse.

At the entrance to the new district, the project brings together diverse and inclusive forms of housing with social and neighbourhood-oriented infrastructure. Five buildings form a cohesive ensemble where different ways of living, social facilities and communal uses come together.

Activated ground floors and permeable open spaces create a lively context and foster encounters and community. The simple, durable and demountable structural system of the buildings supports a circular approach, while making room for affordable housing, generous communal spaces and high-quality open spaces.

From 25 to 27 September 2026, OPEN HOUSE VIENNA invites visitors to discover architecture across Vienna.

Among the 50 buildings that can be visited as part of free, short guided tours without registration is our project vis-à-vis.

Richard Scheich and Sebastian Pernegger from our project partners, einszueins architektur, will guide visitors through the already occupied residential building in the new urban development area on the site of the former Aspang railway station.

Highlights include the open access galleries, shared spaces and rooftop terraces, as well as the interplay between cooperative housing and subsidised housing.

As part of the ‘Vermessung der Wachau’ project, we were invited, in collaboration with Welterbe Wachau, to explore the Wachau UNESCO World Heritage cultural landscape.

The initiative seeks new perspectives on the region — moving beyond established images and tourist narratives.

On 17 April 2026, the time had come:
Experts from various disciplines were invited to contribute to the event. The excursion began with a Danube cruise and ended with a public discussion at the Heurigen Brustbauer in Loiben.

The exhibition continues the themes of the documentary film “MOUNTAIN TIME: Alpine Architecture in Ten Stories” and reflects on the collective dimension of architectural creation in the Alpine region, a subject with which Architetti Arco Alpino has dealt in depth.

We are very delighted that our Kindergarten in Niederolang is featured as one of the ten stories in the documentary.
