MOUNTAIN TIME is a cinematic journey along the Italian Alpine Arc, exploring ten territories and ten contemporary architectural projects that reveal new ways of inhabiting the mountains. Through schools, restored villages, infrastructures and regenerated spaces, the film examines virtuous practices that combine respect for the past with a vision for the future. The stories are told by those who live these places every day: teachers, students, workers, alpine guides. Without offering definitive answers, the film invites reflection on depopulation, sustainability, tourism and the relationship between humans and nature. The silent protagonist is the Mountain itself, with its slow and essential time, shaping landscapes, architecture and communities.
We are very thrilled that our Kindergarten in Niederolang was chosen as one of the ten stories.
